Kirsten O'Sullivan, BPsych
Couples Counsellor, Sydney

I’m Kirsten O’Sullivan, a qualified couples counsellor in Sydney, supporting individuals and couples to navigate relationship challenges with clarity, compassion, and care. I specialise in Relationship Counselling, integrating Emotion-Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, CBT for Couples, and Systemic Family Therapy to support clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, attachment-based approach, creating a warm and inclusive space where you can safely explore challenges, strengthen communication, and build emotional resilience.

My Approach

As a couples counsellor in Sydney, I understand that relationship difficulties are often shaped by communication patterns, past experiences, and emotional needs that may go unspoken.

Tailored Sessions

I tailor each session to your unique relationship, helping you to:

  • Rebuild trust and repair emotional disconnection
  • Navigate conflict with greater understanding
  • Improve communication and emotional awareness
  • Develop healthier ways of relating

My approach is gentle and grounded, creating space for honest conversations and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

Areas of Support

Alongside couples counselling, I also support individuals and families experiencing:

  • Anxiety and depression
  • Addiction and recovery
  • Separation and relationship breakdown
  • Family conflict and life transitions
  • Sexual and intimacy concerns

These challenges often impact how we relate to ourselves and others, and I work holistically to support both individual wellbeing and relationship health.

If this sounds like the support you need right now, please get in touch.
